Jesús Ascaso was born in a humble mountain town in the north of Spain. He was a man with an entrepreneurial spirit and the town offered him little opportunity. As a result he left for Barcelona with the equivalent of $30 in his pocket and a head full ideas. I have used this grinder with my Francis Francis X3 for a few weeks now and I have been quite satisfied.\n\nI'm not sure whether the stepless adjustment is a blessing or a curse. I spent hours adjusting it when I first got it and it's kind of hard to mark your favorite settings on it. The adjustment mechanism is also a little flimsy. The metal screw needed a little bit of filing to prevent it from eating the plastic wheel it is turning.\n\nIf you can live with that kind of initial annoyances, it's a pretty good grinder.
