Comments about Farberware Percolator (2-4 Cup):
I love the little percolator I bought for myself and got my mom one for Christmas - she loved it. Very helpful for someone who lives alone - you don't have to brew a big pot of coffee for just 1 person. Brews very fast and the coffee is HOT when it's done. Better taste than drip coffee, in my opinion.

Comments about Farberware Percolator (2-4 Cup):
*smallish pot
*may leave grounds
*no auto shut off
*appears very sturdy
I love this coffee pot, however it is a little on the small side - makes two (2) generous mugs or three (3) regular mugs at most with each brew. If you are using cup & saucer you may just get 4 cups. I live alone so this is fine for me but you may want to consider a larger pot for 2 or more people.
I think percolated coffee tastes best and this coffee pot makes great coffee. The only problem with the coffee is that there are sometimes a few coffee grounds in the last cup. I don't mind, but if you do, you may want to consider something with a filter. The coffee is always good and hot and stays hot if you keep the pot plugged in. Also, beware - the pot gets quite hot to the touch.
The only thing that would make this better would be an automatic shut off after, say, 2 hours.
The pot is also very cute (because it's small) and the construction appears very study and durable.
I *love* this coffee pot!

Comments about Farberware Percolator (2-4 Cup):
I bought this percolator to replace my standard drip-brewer after reading articles and reviews of "how much better a percolator brews coffee."
The problem with this percolator is that it brews too hot. I've read that coffee should never reach boiling temperature. Well, this thing boils the coffee like there's no tomorrow. So forget about drinking it as soon as the brewing is done. And when it switches to "keep warm" after the brew cycle, it is still way too hot to drink. I tested with a thermometer and the "keep warm" cycle held the coffee at 180 degrees. That's a bit too warm for me.
Furthermore, the coffee seems to be a bit weak for my taste, regardless of how much coffee grounds I start with.

Comments about Farberware Percolator (2-4 Cup):
I purchased this product for my father who loves rich coffee. He has a larger Farberware percolator, but being single individual, the coffee pot was too large for him. The small percolator is great for one/two people. He has the larger one when company visits. My father is almost 80 and has used Farberware as long as I can remember. It's certainly durable.

Comments about Farberware Percolator (2-4 Cup):
A friend in college in 1970 had this percolator. I was thrilled to see that it is still being made. It makes coffee in no time, faster than a drip. The main reason I bought it is that the drip pots don't make a hot enough cup of coffee. Nor do they keep the coffee hot enough. I wish I had bought this years ago. I love it !!!!!
Service and delivery comments:
