My only complaint has been they die too quickly. I went from the 4-cup to the 8-cup hoping to avoid having to replace, again lasted only 2 years. New design of pot and beefed-up cord look promising.

We have had the last two pots we have bought fail quickly because the plug receptacle at the base of the pot broke. The design is defective.

Farberware has been making great coffee makers for years and this is just another one to add to their collection. However, reading the water level inside the pot is difficult to see. If they could just find a way to make the cup measurements easier to see this pot would be a "perfect 10."
